Mallory Valk holds her B.A. in Theatre Arts with a minor in Dance from Fredonia State University.  While at Fredonia she studied modern, jazz, ballet, tap, dance improvisation and choreography.  She also participated in several master classes with renowned companies including Troika Ranch Dance Company and the Modern American Dance Company.  She could also be seen on campus in productions with Orchesis, the student-run dance company, as well stage managing the inaugural concert of the Fredonia Dance Ensemble. Upon graduation in 2007, Mallory promptly joined the South Glens Falls High School Drama Club as their choreographer.  This is where she realized her passion for teaching all aspects of theatre, especially dance.  She proudly continues to work with them today.  Mallory's thrilled to now be joining the Center Stage Plattsburgh team!

"The time to sing is when your emotional level is too high to just speak anymore, and the time to dance is when your emotions are just too strong to only sing about how you feel."  -Bob Fosse
